So, As I type this I should be doing something else, Something a tad more productive but I felt the need to vent a little.
Lately I’ve been trying to figure out ways to get my music heard and get some placements with some artists(I’m an aspiring producer BTW). I’ve found a couple email addresses and my girl found a bunch of addresses,email and street addresses for me<—Gotta Love that. ANyway…. I’ve sent out a couple emails to a couple artists with a couple tracks attached and have yet to receive a response. It cant be b/c my work is weak. Im not tooting my own horn here but I got some nice tracks(www.myspace.com/christopherkingmusic if u dont believe me). I’ve been told more often than not that “Its Not what you know, Its who you know”, and I’ve been patiently waiting for responses from these guys. I guess I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to gain acceptance from others when I should be blazing my own path into the industry. My work ethic needs a lil work to be honest but, I declare from this day forth, I will no longer worry about getting approval from other people that are already established in the industry and MAKE MY OWN WAY! This shit is confusing though. LOL
STAY FOCUSED ,POSITIVE AND REMEMBER WHO IS IN CONTROL , GOD. YOU REMAIN PERSISTANT AND GOD WILL BLESS YOU!ALL THINGS ARE IN HIS HAND! EVEN THESE PEOPLE WHO MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN WHAT IT WAS LIKE WHEN THEY FIRST STARTED OUT,THEY COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT GOD!YOUR WORK IS NOT WEAK BY ANY MEANS YOU HAVE A GREAT TALENT AND YOU WILL GET RECOGNITION FOR IT ONE DAY. TRUST AND BELIEVE IN YOURELF, BUT MOST OF ALL.. TRUST AND BELIEVE IN GOD! ALSO ENCOURAGE YOURSELF, IMPROVE YOUR WORK ETHICS,AND ALWAYS REMEMBER… IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED,TRY AGAIN (EVEN HARDER)! I BELIEVE IN YOU BUBBA!
